Chevy has some impressive 2021 models that are now available at Paul Thigpen Chevrolet Buick GMC in Vidalia. Two of our favorite new models include the new Chevy Blazer and new Chevy Trailblazer.
Both provide you with impressive safety features, lots of technology, and attractive design features. But which new model is right for you? Let's take a look at some of the key differences between the new Trailblazer and Blazer so you can find your perfect new Chevy today!
Blazer or Trailblazer?
Power
Both the Blazer and The Trailblazer offer front-wheel drive and available all-wheel drive systems. But if you desire more horsepower, the Blazer has three available engines to choose from while the Trailblazer only has one. Each Blazer engine is paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission, and the Trailblazer comes with a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
Design and Size
The overall appearance of the Chevy Trailblazer is modern, sporty, and sophisticated, but the new Blazer is quite impressive. The new Blazer stands out with sharp lines and angular features that make this new Chevy model more aesthetically appealing.
Both models are available with leather seating and a leather-wrapped steering wheel as well as 60/40 split-folding seats in the second row for added versatility for both passengers and cargo.
The Blazer falls into the category of mid-size SUVs while the Trailblazer is a compact SUV. Both will provide you with ample legroom, but if you need more space, the new Blazer has a bit more coming in at 64.2 cubic feet compared to the 54.4 cubic feet in the Trailblazer.
